Mom's surgery was on Friday--Saturday was a bit better, and I'm on my way to Roseville now to see her today. Hoping it's a bit better. So far a bit of pain, lots of nausea. Ick for her.
It's funny to be back where my dad spent so many miserable days. But the nursing staff is top notch, very caring and helpful. That makes such a difference.
I'm getting lots of knitting done which is a great by-product. Days spent indoors at the hospital are long, so having a project (socks for me) helps make the time pass so much faster.
